Under One Roof Fiber Arts

We are dedicated to teaching sewing and fiber arts to African Immigrant women in the Twin Cities area. We are one of the community outreach programs of SAYFSM (Sub-Saharan African Youth and Family Services in Minnesota).

Our program is growing with more students, an additional classroom, many donations from friends of the program, and a great curriculum to help our students get started sewing.
Visit us on Facebook to see regular updates from our classroom.

We are looking for people who would like to be involved with our sewing program. Please visit our Volunteers page for additional information. We have one paid position as well as volunteer opportunities. We look forward to hearing from you!

Under One Roof holds sewing, quilting and other fiber arts (crocheting, knitting, weaving, etc.) classes throughout the week and the weekend. Some classes may be full but we are adding classes as teachers become available.

Please contact us if you want to know more about our program!
